Role & responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch.
- Build and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
- Customize WordPress core functionality using hooks, filters, and APIs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Write clean, secure, and optimized code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize WordPress applications.
- Collaborate with the team using Git and follow coding standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- 23 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Hands-on experience with custom theme development.
- Hands-on experience with custom plugin development.
- Positive understanding of WordPress Hooks, REST API, Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, and AJAX.
- Experience with WooCommerce customization is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
