Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Database Lead (Oracle DBA) to lead enterprise Oracle database administration, migration, upgrade, and high-availability initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Oracle database technologies, lead a team of DBAs, collaborate directly with clients, and ensure database environments are secure, highly available, and optimized for performance. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication skills and experience managing critical production environments.
Experience: 9 to 12 years
Location: Chennai _WFO
Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days
Desired Profiles:
- 912 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c architecture and administration.
- Mandatory experience in Shell Scripting (Linux/Unix).
- Proven experience in Oracle Database Migration and Version Upgrade projects.
- Strong experience with Oracle Data Guard and Oracle GoldenGate.
- Hands-on experience with RMAN (Backup & Recovery).
- Strong understanding of Oracle RAC and ASM.
- Excellent database performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting 247 production environments.
- Experience leading a team of Oracle DBAs and managing project deliverables.
- Strong client-facing experience, including requirement gathering, technical discussions, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Valuable to Have
- Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, or Azure.
- Exposure to Oracle Exadata.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
- Oracle certification (OCP/OCE) is an added advantage. .
