About the Role
SAGE & Co.
is expanding! We are looking for a skilled, autonomous accountant who can take complete ownership of a dedicated portfolio of US clients. In this role, you won't just crunch numbersyou will directly handle client communication, manage end-to-end accounting workflows, and navigate specialized proprietary systems.
If you have a strong command over cloud accounting software, love deep-diving into data, and can confidently manage international accounts independently, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Independent Client Management:
Take direct ownership of major US client portfolios, acting as the primary point of contact for accounts.
End-to-End Accounting:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance using cloud software.
Management Reporting:
Prepare accurate, timely monthly and quarterly financial management reports to help clients make informed business decisions.
Software Adaptability:
Work fluently across standard platforms and quickly master custom, client-specific proprietary software and workflows.
Technical Requirements
Software Proficiency:
2+ years of hands-on experience with
Xero
and
Zoho Books
is mandatory.
Advanced MS Excel Skills:
Must be highly proficient in data manipulation and reporting using functions like
VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, and Pivot Tables
.
Domain Knowledge:
Strong understanding of US accounting principles, bookkeeping standards, and financial reporting structure.
