Trident Consulting is a fast-growing, women- and minority-owned U.S.-based IT staffing and solutions firm serving Fortune 500 clients. We are looking for an experienced HR Onboarding Specialist to support onboarding and compliance for contract consultants in the U.S. staffing space.
Role Overview
You will manage end-to-end onboarding of consultants placed in contract roles, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and timely experience from offer to start date.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end onboarding for contract consultantsCoordinate background verification (BGV), documentation, and follow-upsEnsure compliance with U.S. labor laws, work authorization, and client requirementsCollect and verify onboarding documents (offer letters, I-9, etc.)Partner with payroll and finance teams for timely setupTrack onboarding progress and maintain accurate reportsAct as the key liaison between recruiters, consultants, and internal teams
Requirements
5+ years of experience in U.S. staffing onboarding (contract roles)Strong experience with BGV coordination and complianceGood understanding of documentation, payroll setup, and onboarding workflowsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
