Job Description HR Generalist
Position: HR Generalist
Department: Human Resources
Location: Gandhinagar (GIFT City), Ahmedabad
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR
operations, support recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR compliance, and employee
engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth HR processes while partnering with
business teams to support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit
formalities.
Support end-to-end recruitment for junior, mid, and senior-level positions.
Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRMS data accurately.
Assist in payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and employee benefits administration.
Ensure compliance with company HR policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate employee engagement activities, training programs, and HR events.
Handle employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and documentation.
Prepare HR reports, MIS, and dashboards.
Support performance management, probation reviews, and employee development initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of HR operations and recruitment processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of labor laws and HR compliance.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS/ATS systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple HR activities simultaneously.
Good stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
Preferred Experience
25 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Executive.
Female Applicant preferred
Experience in Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, or Broking industry will be preferred.
Hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, payroll coordination, employee
engagement, and compliance.
Experience working with HRMS and ATS platforms.
