Hybrid Data Engineer

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver against an agile roadmap - Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements with architects and software engineers - Design, develop, test, and maintain data intensive applications - Follow and enhance processes for continuous delivery and DevOps - Build and maintain software using configuration management and automation tools - Implement Software Engineering practices like Reliability Engineering and Test Automation - Experience in Data As a Service and Container As a Service models - Collaborate on quality strategies for a correct, resilient, scalable, and secure data platform - Support applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Participate in system analysis, design walkthroughs, and code reviews - Adhere to design/coding standards and continuously improve software delivery

- 3+ years of designing and implementing Java-based applications - 1-2 years' experience in Azure or AWS - 1-2 years' experience in Databricks - 1-2 years' experience in Spark - 1-2 years' experience in Snowflake - 2+ years of relational and non-relational database delivery - 2+ years of experience in Agile Delivery - 1+ years in Dev Ops Automation tools (Oozie, Python, Jenkins, etc.) - Experience in working with DevOps teams in an Agile Delivery/onshore-offshore model - Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience Persistent offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with a culture focused on talent development and growth opportunities.
