Position Overview
BNP Paribas Personal Finance is seeking an Identity and Access Management Developer to join their international team in charge of the IAM platform for external users. The successful candidate will play a key role in onboarding different subsidiaries for offering delegated and secure identity and access management for their B2C, B2B2C, and B2B customers. The IAM platform is based on PingIdentity products, including PingFederate, PingOne, PingDirectory, and PingOne 2FA, deployed on-premise in BNPP infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities The Identity and Access Management Developer will be responsible for managing the logical segregation and environments for each Personal Finance subsidiary, managing users, credentials, and certificates, and developing custom adapters and login pages for performing OIDC and SAML-based authentication. Other key responsibilities include:
Supporting subsidiaries and application owners for onboarding applications in the platform
Designing the LDAP structure and authentication flow
Supporting application owners and production teams in incident resolution
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
Contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
Required Education, Skills, AND Experience (MUSTHAVE)
The ideal candidate should have:
At least 5 years of experience in IAM development space
At least 4 years of experience with Ping suite products, including PingFederate, PingOne, PingDirectory, and PingOne 2FA
Exposure to key skills such as OIDC, SAML, Postman, Federated Identity, and OIDC Introspection
Ability to configure authentication flows and PingIdentity adapters
Experience in managing federation of authentication with internal and external SSO providers
Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication and collaboration, adaptability, and willingness to learn
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Preferred Education, Skills, AND Experience (NICETOHAVE)
Nice to have skills include:
Knowledge of API Management solutions like Axway or Apigee
Experience with Agile methodology
Proactive mindset and business/IT relationship skills
Empathy and customer focus
Experience working in a global banking environment would be an advantage
