01Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition:
Source new customers for Savings and Current Accounts through field visits, referrals, cold calling, and lead conversions.
Execute promotional and sales activities in the catchment area to increase CASA penetration.
Sales and Cross-Selling:
Achieve monthly CASA targets as defined by the bank.
Identify customer needs and offer suitable bank products including loans, insurance, debit/credit cards, and investment services.
Promote digital banking adoption among current and existing customers.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to improve customer retention.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure proper documentation of all account opening and KYC compliance.
Adhere to all bank policies, processes, and guidelines.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Provide feedback to leadership on market insights to improve offerings.
Key Skills Required:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Sales acumen and ability to work under pressure
Good knowledge of banking products, especially CASA
Ability to build relationships and handle objections
Proficient in MS Office and digital banking platforms
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (preferably commerce or business-related)
13 years of experience in banking sales or financial services, preferably in CASA acquisition
Freshers with robust sales aptitude may also be considered .
