01Requirements
A minimum of three (3) years reputed company work experience with ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS is required. Experience coding Hospital Inpatient encounters is required Equal to completion of 1 or 2 years of CAHIIM accredited college Medical Coding program or equivalent knowledge & experience required. Working Knowledge of reputed company software preferred. Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company), Certified Coding Apprentice (CCA) or Certified reputed company reputed company CPC is required. Completion of Coding Certificate or Degree through a CAHIIM accredited program, or the equivalent knowledge and experience required.
