Import Executive

Manage end-to-end import documentation process, including preparation and verification of documents such as Bill of Entry (BOE), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (BL)/Airway Bill (AWB), Insurance Certificate, and other regulatory documentsLiaise and coordinate with overseas suppliers, Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, and shipping lines for smooth execution of import shipmentsEnsure compliance with all import regulations, customs laws, DGFT guidelines, and company policies to avoid delays or penaltiesMonitor and track shipment status from dispatch to delivery, ensuring timely customs clearance and delivery of goodsReview and verify all documentation for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions in coordination with relevant stakeholdersHandle custom clearance procedures, duty calculations, and documentation submission to customs authoritiesMaintain proper and organized records of all import transactions, invoices, duty payments, and shipment documents for audit and reference purposesCoordinate with internal departments such as procurement, finance, stores, and production to ensure seamless operations and material availabilityManage communication regarding shipment updates, delays, and issues, and provide timely updates to managementSupport in cost optimization by coordinating with logistics partners and evaluating freight and clearance charges

Strong understanding of customs clearance procedures, import regulations, HS codes, duties, and tariffsFamiliarity with DGFT regulations, import licensing, and compliance requirementsGood communication and coordination skills to interact with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teamsStrong problem-solving ability with attention to detail for handling discrepancies and documentation errorsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and documentation management systemsPay: 400,000.00 - 600,000.00 per year Application Question(s): How many years of experience you have in import department Are you Immediate joiner Work Location: In person .
