Prepare, review, and finalize Letter of Credit (LC) drafts in coordination with suppliers and banks. - Liaise with international suppliers to obtain required shipping and commercial documents. - Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, and other relevant regulations. - Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHAs, and shipping lines for smooth cargo clearance. - Maintain import documentation (BL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.) as per internal audit and statutory requirements. - Monitor import shipments and ensure timely delivery and clearance at ports. - Follow up with banks for LC amendments, discrepancy resolutions, and timely payment processing. - Maintain updated records of import costs, duties, and logistics expenses. - Prepare MIS reports related to imports and submit them to management periodically.
