01Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage export and import documentation accurately and on time.
Handle shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (BL), Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin (COO), and other trade-related documents.
Manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and ensure compliance with banking requirements.
Coordinate with customs agents, CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade policies.
Track shipments and maintain proper records of dispatch and delivery.
Verify invoices, shipping bills, and documentation for accuracy.
Communicate with overseas clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
Maintain MIS reports and documentation records for audit and compliance purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in export-import documentation.
Practical knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and international trade operations.
Experience in handling LC documentation, invoicing, BL, COO, and related documents.
Experience in an import-export company or trading house will be preferred.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/software related to export-import operations.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Graduate in Commerce, Management, or related field.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Knowledge of DGFT, customs regulations, and logistics coordination is an added advantage.
