About the Role
Were looking for a strong Python developer with solid hands-on experience in building automation scripts, working with data transformation libraries, and writing clean, modular, object-oriented code. The role demands deep comfort with Python and its ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert in Python with strong understanding of OOPs, data structures, and design principles.
- Hands-on with Pandas and NumPy for complex data manipulation and transformation.
- Experience in building automation scripts and frameworks for data and system workflows.
- Familiar with REST API integration/development in Python for reporting, cataloging, or orchestration.
- Solid exposure to UNIX/Linux environments with working knowledge of shell scripting.
Required Skills
- Exposure to KDB+/q, especially concepts like rdb, hdb, and tick data.
- Understanding of high-frequency or time-series data processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Write clean, production-ready Python code.
- Are comfortable owning end-to-end automation workflows.
- Can work independently in a Linux-heavy setup and collaborate across data & engineering teams.
- Have a passion for optimizing and automating wherever possible.
