Role Overview
At PwC, as part of the finance team, your focus will be on providing financial advice and strategic guidance to clients, helping them optimize their financial performance and make informed business decisions. You will handle financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. In financial operations, your responsibilities will include managing financial processes and ensuring compliance with regulations, such as financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Act as a central point of contact for all territory finance departments
- Participate in various month-end activities including booking journal entries, analyzing accrual needs, variance analysis reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Contribute to the development of forecasts and budgets for the business
- Propose innovative solutions and ideas to address problems
- Extract insights from current business trends using a variety of tools and techniques to support decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete reporting tasks accurately and on time
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the Head of the COE team
- Flexibility to work flexible hours
Qualifications Required
- Good technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with prompt and professional responses to client requests
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, SAP, S4/HANA, Alteryx, Business Warehouse, etc.
- Effective communication skills with staff at all levels
- Team player with the ability to work in a virtual/global team
- Resourceful problem solver with a knack for troubleshooting and developing solutions
- Utilization of available resources for digital upskilling initiatives
