Job Description

Role Overview

As a Tax Specialist at PwC, you will be focusing on providing advice and guidance to clients regarding tax planning, compliance, and strategy. Your role will involve helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Specifically, in tax compliance, you will be responsible for validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of legal and regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions including banks, alternative investment funds, capital market intermediaries, fintechs, etc. - Identify and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines impacting IFSCA regulated clients' operations in GIFT IFSC. - Continuously monitor changes in laws and regulations, proactively communicating these changes to clients and assisting them in adapting accordingly. - Assist in drafting and revising client applications, policies, and procedures under the guidance of senior legal and compliance personnel. - Ensure all documents meet regulatory standards and align with clients' strategic objectives.

Qualifications Required

- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks, preferably with knowledge of IFSCA regulations. - Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
