Independent IT Infrastructure Audit Consultant

Job Type: Contract Contract Duration: 56 Months Location: Hyderabad, Telangana On-site Experience Required: 1215 Years Interview: Face-to-Face Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced IT Infrastructure Audit Consultant to independently assess our organization's current IT infrastructure, identify security and operational risks, and develop a prioritized roadmap for infrastructure optimization and modernization. The role involves interaction with senior leadership, IT stakeholders, and legal professionals, therefore strong communication and presentation skills are essential. Responsibilities Conduct a complete IT infrastructure audit and current-state assessment.Review LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN and remote-access architecture.Assess servers, storage, compute, cloud and hybrid infrastructure.Evaluate endpoint and device management.Review cybersecurity controls, access management and data security.Assess backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.Review IT service management and helpdesk operations.Evaluate IT vendors, AMC arrangements and third-party dependencies.Review software licensing and IT asset management.Identify infrastructure gaps, risks, vulnerabilities, single points of failure and technical debt.Recommend infrastructure optimization and modernization initiatives.Develop a short-, medium-, and long-term infrastructure roadmap.Provide an indicative cost-benefit analysis for key recommendations.Prepare detailed audit and assessment reports.Present findings and recommendations to leadership and IT stakeholders.Requirements 1215 years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure.Proven experience in IT infrastructure auditing, assessment, consulting or optimization.Strong hands-on and strategic understanding of:NetworkingServers and storageCloud infrastructureHybrid infrastructureCybersecurityFirewalls and VPNEndpoint managementBackup and disaster recoveryIT operationsIT service managementExperience working independently and managing senior stakeholders.Strong documentation, analytical and reporting skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with non-technical stakeholders and lawyers.Experience in legal, professional services, financial services, or other regulated environments is preferred.Preferred Certifications CISAITILCISSPCCNA / CCNPAWS / Azure / Google Cloud certificationsOther relevant IT Infrastructure or Cybersecurity certificationsPay: 100,000.00 - 1,800,000.00 per year Work Location: In person .
