01Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Success:
Conduct site visits and assessments for industrial and commercial clients.Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for energy optimization.Serve as the primary technical and strategic point of contact for customers.Ensure seamless implementation of solutions, working alongside cross-functional teams.
Technical & Product Integration:
Identify and recommend the right hardware and middleware solutions for IoT-based energy optimization.Work with AC units, gas heaters, heat pumps, boilers, and other industrial systems to improve energy efficiency.Collaborate with web and mobile development teams for integration with our AI/Reinforcement Learning (RL) tool.Troubleshoot, test, and validate solutions on-site.
Sales, Negotiation & Business Development:
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.Negotiate contracts, close deals, and drive revenue growth.Advocate for the company's solutions and effectively communicate value propositions.
Leadership & Growth:
Take on a leadership role in a fast-growing startup.Own equity/options within the company.Work in a high-risk, high-reward environment with a self-starter mindset.Contribute to long-term strategy and innovation.
What Were Looking For:
5+ years of experience in industrial automation, IoT, or energy optimization.Hands-on expertise with HVAC systems (AC units, gas heaters, heat pumps, boilers, etc.).Experience working with hardware, middleware, and energy optimization platforms.Strong customer success, sales, and negotiation skills.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.Ability to travel extensively across the U.S. for client visits.Self-motivated, risk-taking mindset comfortable working in a startup environment.Fast learner while AI/Reinforcement Learning experience is not required, the candidate must be open to learning and working with these technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with software-based energy optimization applications or platforms.Knowledge of AI-driven energy optimization tools (not required but a plus).Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company. .
