Senior ETL Developer Informatica PowerCenter & IDMC (Banking Migration)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior ETL Developer with strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to join our Banking and Financial Services team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in enterprise banking data migration projects, ETL development, data quality, and large-scale data integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IDMC/IICS).
- Participate in banking data migration and transformation projects, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and optimize ETL workflows, mappings, taskflows, and reusable components.
- Work extensively with Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 databases.
- Perform data profiling, data quality assessment, and reconciliation activities.
- Implement and support CDC (Change Data Capture) and incremental data loading strategies.
- Design and maintain dimensional data models and metadata repositories.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.
- Follow DevOps and CI/CD practices, including source code management and deployment automation.
Required Skills
- 7 - 10 years of experience in ETL Development within Banking or Financial Services environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Informatica PowerCenter
- Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS)
- Connectors, Taskflows, and Monitoring Dashboards
- Solid knowledge of:
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and DB2
- Data Profiling and Data Reconciliation
- Data Warehousing concepts and Dimensional Modelling
- Metadata Management and CDC concepts
- Experience with Banking Data Migration projects is mandatory.
- Exposure to Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Good to Have
- Experience in Core Banking migration programs.
- Exposure to cloud data integration technologies.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and release management processes.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs.

Education
