01Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance SAS programs to support business and analytical requirements.- Design and implement efficient ETL processes using SAS.- Extract, transform, validate, and load data from multiple source systems.- Develop reusable SAS macros and automated data processing workflows.- Write complex SAS SQL and PROC SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.- Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.- Optimize SAS programs for performance, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.- Create production-ready batch processes and schedule automated jobs.- Troubleshoot program failures, data quality issues, and production incidents.- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.- Develop reports, datasets, and analytical outputs based on business requirements.- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.- Maintain technical documentation, process flows, and data mapping documents.- Ensure adherence to coding standards, governance policies, and best development practices.Preferred Skills:- Experience with SAS Data Integration Studio.- Exposure to SAS Viya or SAS Visual Analytics.- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.- Familiarity with banking, healthcare, insurance, retail, or financial services domains.- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.- Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.- Knowledge of Python or R is an added advantage.Qualifications:- 25 years of hands-on experience in SAS development and programming.
