01Key Responsibilities
- Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers (physical or cloud-based).
- Network Administration: Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and connectivity between systems.
- System Monitoring: Monitor performance, uptime, and resource utilization.
- Backup & Recovery: Implement data backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
- User Access Control: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Hardware & Software Maintenance: Ensure systems are up to date with patches and updates.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix infrastructure-related issues.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, and cloud environments (like AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V) and monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
- Understanding of IT security and data backup strategies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
