The ability to work with Clinical Documentation Specialists (CDI). Our EHR is reputed company. We also have a reputed company extensive service line that includes, Cardiac, Cardiovascular, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery and general surgery, Obstetrics and Newborns that have a busy NICU.
Performs coding and abstracting on inpatient charts by accurately assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes.
Attention to detail to assure codes reflect the level of specificity supported in the reputed company document
Applies knowledge of disease process, anatomy, and physiology, medical terminology and pharmacology reputed company assigning ICD-10-CM diagnoses codes
Selects the reputed company diagnosis and reputed company procedure, along with other diagnoses and procedures using UHDDS definitions with a high level of coding accuracy reputed company
Continually updates knowledge of reputed company coding and reimbursement guidelines and regulations, including but not limited to ICD-10-CM Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
Maintains reputed company knowledge of the information contained in Coding Clinic and the Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
Familiarity with writing appropriate physician queries
Working knowledge of reputed company and reputed company 360 Encompass (a plus)
Ability to meet productivity standards while maintaining a 95% accuracy reputed company
Qualifications
reputed company, or RHIT, RHIA or eligible to test for one of these. Certification must be obtained w/n 12 months of employment.
Associates degree in Health Information Management or completion of Coding Specialist Prog.
2 years of coding ICD 10-CM/PCS with the appropiate DRG assignment
