Key Responsibilities
Institutional Trade Execution
Execute institutional equity trades across exchanges in compliance with market regulations and internal risk controls. Facilitate and execute block deals, negotiated trades, and large institutional orders with optimal price discovery and market impact management. Coordinate with internal dealing desk and counterparties to ensure timely and efficient trade execution . Monitor market liquidity, order flows, and price movements to provide best execution for clients .
Institutional Client Coverage
Develop and maintain relationships with Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Sovereign Funds, and FPIs . Act as a primary point of contact for institutional trading requirements . Understand client investment strategies and trading patterns to provide relevant trade ideas and execution support . Maintain regular communication with clients regarding market developments, liquidity opportunities, and block trade availability .
Block Deal & Institutional Flow Generation
Identify and facilitate block trade opportunities between institutional buyers and sellers. Work closely with corporates, promoters, investment banks, and institutional investors to source block trade opportunities. Manage confidential deal flows and ensure smooth coordination between participating institutions.
Research Coordination & Client Engagement
Coordinate with the Equity Research Team to arrange meetings between institutional clients and research analysts. Schedule and manage corporate access, analyst calls, roadshows, and research presentations for institutional investors. Ensure clients receive timely research updates, sector insights, and company reports .
Institutional Empanelment Support
Assist in expanding the firm's institutional client base through empanelment with Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Banks, and FPIs . Participate in institutional meetings to present the firm's execution capabilities and research strengths .
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Track market trends, liquidity flows, and sector activity to provide actionable market insights to clients. Monitor institutional trading patterns and block deal pipelines . Maintain awareness of regulatory developments and market structure changes affecting institutional trading.

Qualifications
MBA / CFA / CA / Finance Graduate preferred NISM certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience
3 10 years of experience in institutional equity sales trading or institutional broking. Experience dealing with mutual funds, insurance companies, FPIs, and large institutional investors preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile
Existing network with institutional traders, fund managers, or CIO offices Strong understanding of block deal markets and institutional order flow Proven ability to generate institutional trading revenues .
