Role Description This is a full time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Dibrugarh West. The Insurance Agent will identify prospective clients, explain insurance products and services, and recommend suitable plans based on individual needs and financial goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings, preparing proposals, handling policy documentation, and supporting clients through the application and claim processes. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships, providing after-sales service, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with internal teams to meet sales targets, comply with regulatory requirements, and promote Shriram Life Insurances digital tools and solutions. Qualifications Solid skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain policy features clearly and match products to client needs. Experience or knowledge in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to support sound financial guidance and product recommendations. Proven Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and effective resolution of client queries and concerns. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships across diverse communities. Basic understanding of digital tools and willingness to use technology platforms for client engagement and policy management. Ability to work towards sales targets, manage time efficiently, and operate with high levels of integrity and professionalism. Preferably a bachelors degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance are an advantage. Fluency in local languages and familiarity with the Dibrugarh West region will be beneficial. .
