Key areas of responsibilities: Responsible for evaluating and validating insurance information to verify claims and process the necessary claims resolutions for patients in an efficient and effective manner. Main Job Tasks: Manage business, handling paperwork and insurance claims. Coordinate medical claims for various insurance companies/ TPAs by verifying insurance benefits for the patient. In principle, he/she should take care all credit patients; to guide, counsel and take care of patients during the hospital visit- from admission, during their stay and right through till the final discharge, counsel the patient pre-admissions about the financial aspects and also during the stay on a daily basis. Prepare cost estimates mainly for various out-patient and in-patient cases.
