Key Responsibilities Investigate insurance claims thoroughly by gathering information, interviewing claimants and witnesses, and reviewing police reports and other relevant documents. Assess the extent of damage or loss and determine coverage based on the policy terms and conditions. Calculate claim settlements and negotiate with policyholders and other parties involved to reach a fair resolution. Manage a caseload of claims, ensuring timely and efficient processing while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Prepare detailed reports documenting claim investigations, findings, and settlement recommendations. Liaise with legal counsel, medical professionals, and other experts as needed to resolve complex claims. Maintain accurate and organized claim files in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Identify potential fraud and escalate suspicious claims for further investigation. Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process, ensuring clear communication with all parties. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or in a similar role within the insurance industry. Solid understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant laws and regulations in India . Excellent investigative, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Proficiency in using claims management software and MS Office. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle a high volume of work in Patna, Bihar . Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated service area.
