About the Role Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Policy Administrator to manage policy lifecycles within their office in Chandigarh . You will be the primary point of contact for policy-related inquiries from both internal teams and external clients, requiring excellent communication and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Administer and process insurance policies from inception through termination, including new business, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of policy information in the company's management system. Review policy applications and related documents for completeness and accuracy. Generate and distribute policy documents, certificates of insurance, and other relevant correspondence. Respond to inquiries from policyholders, agents, and internal departments regarding policy details and coverage. Assist in the resolution of policy-related discrepancies or issues. Process policy changes and endorsements in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain organized policy files and records, both physical and electronic. Liaise with underwriting and claims departments to facilitate smooth policy administration. Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and company policies that affect policy administration. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus. Proven experience in insurance policy administration or a similar administrative role (minimum 2 years). Familiarity with various types of insurance policies (e.g., life, health, auto, property). Strong data entry skills and proficiency in using administrative software and databases. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
