Role Description The Software Intern role at ThapalaBox is a remote internship focused on supporting the development and testing of AI-powered delivery solutions. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist in writing and maintaining code, implementing software features, testing end to end, and collaborating with the engineering team on system design and integration tasks. The role includes working with databases, debugging issues, writing test cases, and documenting technical work. The intern will also participate in code reviews, learn best practices in software engineering, and contribute to small projects or components under guidance from experienced team members. Qualifications Strong foundation in Programming and Software Development, with experience in at least one modern programming language. Knowledge of Software Design principles, including modularity, maintainability, and basic architectural patterns. Familiarity with Databases, including basic querying, data modeling concepts, and integration with applications. Understanding of Testing practices such as unit testing, integration testing, and debugging techniques. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Ability to learn quickly, work independently in a remote setting, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams. Interest in AI-driven solutions, logistics, or rural development is highly beneficial. Good written and verbal communication skills and a structured approach to problem-solving. Compensation This is a paid 3 months fixed term internhsip offering 10,000 INR per month.
