01Overview
We are looking for an experienced Import-Export professional to manage the complete trading operations of our Dubai-based company, Commex International Trading FZC, from our Pune office.
The candidate should have 715+ years of experience in international trade, preferably in Food & Beverages, Sugar, Spices, Edible Oils, Nuts, Dried Fruits & Vegetables, Food Supplements, Flavours & Fragrances, or other commodity trading.
Key Requirements
Strong existing network of international buyers/customers (UAE, GCC, Africa, Europe, etc.).
Ability to generate current business as well as bring existing customers.
Hands-on experience in end-to-end international trade operations.
Good knowledge of international logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, Incoterms, export-import documentation, LC/banking procedures, and trade compliance.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
Ability to independently manage and grow the trading business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new international customers and maintain existing buyer relationships.
Handle complete sales cycle from enquiry to successful delivery.
Coordinate logistics, freight, shipping lines, CHA, warehouses, and supply chain activities.
Manage all export/import documentation, legal and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with banks, freight forwarders, customs agents, and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely execution of shipments and payment follow-ups.
Monitor international markets and identify new business opportunities.
Work closely with the management, while procurement and supplier sourcing will be handled separately by the company.
We are not looking for a documentation executive. We are looking for a self-driven professional who can independently build and manage our international trading operations, generate business through their own network, and help scale the company globally .
