01Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Assist in tracking and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping in inventory management systems.
- Support in conducting regular stock audits and preparing inventory reports.
- Help ensure the timely receipt and dispatch of goods while maintaining organized and labeled stock areas.
Procurement Support:
- Assist with the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment as per company requirements.
- Help prepare purchase orders, obtain quotations, and track order status to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with vendors for product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Vendor Management:
- Assist in maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Help in evaluating vendor performance and recommending improvements where needed.
- Support negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions under the guidance of the procurement team.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Support the team in ensuring all procurement documentation is accurate, complete, and filed correctly.
- Help prepare reports related to procurement activities, including cost analysis and delivery performance.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Assist in tracking purchase orders against the budget and help identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Support in analyzing market trends and pricing strategies to make data-driven procurement decisions.
Supplier Evaluation:
- Assist in assessing suppliers based on product quality, delivery time, and cost-effectiveness.
- Help in updating the supplier database and identifying new potential suppliers based on business needs.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Support in ensuring that all procurement processes comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in identifying risks within the supply chain and proposing mitigation strategies.
General Support:
- Provide administrative support to the procurement and stores teams.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas for improving procurement and inventory management processes.
- Assist in coordinating logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments.
02Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
