Responsibilities:
Stock Planning & Control
- Forecast inventory requirements based on sales, production, and demand trends.
- Prevent overstocking and stock shortages.
- Set reorder levels, safety stock, and lead times.
Coordination & Operations
- Coordinate with procurement, production, warehouse, and sales teams.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production or dispatch.
- Monitor inward and outward movement of goods.
Systems & Documentation
- Update inventory data in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
- Maintain inventory reports, stock ledgers, and transaction records.
- Ensure proper documentation for receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
