About the RoleHM Aviation Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an Investment & Strategy Analyst to work closely with the leadership team on investment evaluation, capital raising, strategic partnerships, financial analysis and new business opportunities across the aviation sector.The role provides exposure to live projects, investment opportunities, fundraising initiatives and strategic transactions across India and international markets.
Key Responsibilities Build financial models, forecasts, valuations and investment return analyses for new and existing projects. Evaluate potential investments, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and new business opportunities. Conduct financial and commercial due diligence, including analysis of financial statements, cash flows, operating metrics and business models. Perform DCF, comparable company, IRR, NPV, payback and sensitivity analyses, as applicable. Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, investment presentations, pitch decks, teasers and management presentations. Research and identify relevant family offices, HNIs, investment funds, institutional investors, lenders and strategic investors for various projects. Establish initial communication with prospective investors and coordinate introductions, meetings and follow-ups. Build and maintain an organised pipeline of potential investors and funding opportunities. Support the leadership team during investor discussions, due diligence, term sheet evaluation, negotiations and transaction execution. Assist in evaluating debt, equity and structured funding options for different projects. Conduct market, industry and competitor research to support investment and strategic decisions. Track the financial and operational performance of existing investments and strategic projects. Coordinate with external advisors, financial institutions, accountants, lawyers and other stakeholders during transactions.
Candidate Profile Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience. Prior experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Management Consulting, Investment Advisory or a comparable analytical role. Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, Accounting or a related discipline. Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies and financial modelling. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, research, presentation and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to independently analyse an opportunity and present clear, commercially sound recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail. Ability to communicate professionally with investors, financial institutions, advisors and senior stakeholders. Experience or demonstrated interest in aviation, infrastructure, education/training or international businesses would be an advantage.
