IP Lawyer Trademark, Patent & Copyright Experience 24 Years of Relevant IP Experience Job Summary We are looking for an experienced IP Lawyer with 24 years of hands-on experience in an IP Law Firm / IPR Services Firm. The candidate will be responsible for handling Trademark, Patent, Copyright and Design matters, including prosecution, objections, oppositions, hearings, legal drafting and client coordination. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Indian Intellectual Property Laws and procedures and should be capable of independently managing assigned IP matters. Key Responsibilities - Handle end-to-end Trademark and Patent prosecution matters. - Prepare and file Trademark applications, Patent applications and related documents. - Handle Trademark Examination Reports, objections, oppositions and counter-statements. - Assist in Patent examination, FER responses and hearing matters. - Conduct Trademark and Patent searches and prepare preliminary analysis. - Draft Patent and Trademark-related legal documents, replies, notices and opinions. - Handle Trademark opposition, rectification and cancellation matters. - Assist with Patent objections, examination responses and prosecution proceedings. - Handle Copyright and Design registration matters. - Advise clients on IP protection, infringement, brand protection and enforcement. - Conduct legal research on Patent, Trademark, Copyright and Design Laws. - Coordinate with clients, Patent/Trademark Registry, advocates, patent agents and internal teams. - Track IP applications, deadlines, hearings and case status. - Maintain and manage IP portfolios for clients. - Prepare case reports, legal opinions and regular status updates. - Support senior lawyers in IP disputes, litigation and enforcement matters, wherever required. Required Skills - Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property Laws. - Practical experience in Trademark and Patent prosecution. - Experience handling Trademark objections, oppositions and hearings. - Basic to good understanding of Patent prosecution, examination and FER responses. - Valuable knowledge of Copyright and Design Law. - Strong legal drafting and documentation skills. - Excellent legal research and analytical skills. - Strong client communication and coordination skills. - Ability to independently manage multiple IP matters. - Good attention to detail and deadline management. Qualification - LL.B. / B.L. is mandatory. - LL.M. / specialization in Intellectual Property Rights will be an advantage. - Patent Agent qualification will be an added advantage.
