Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with solid expertise in Java J2EE and AS400 to handle end-to-end web application development The role involves working across UI Business and Data layers ensuring high-quality design development and deployment The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to next-generation architecture and DevOps practices Key Roles Responsibilities Application Development Design develop and maintain Java J2EE-based applications Build RESTful web services and integrate them with frontend applications Handle complete end-to-end web development including UI business logic and data layers Develop and enhance AS400 applications including modifying existing programs Architecture Design Understand architecture requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions Ensure adherence to organizational coding standards best practices and development guidelines AS400 Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and convert them into AS400 technical specifications Write modify and enhance RPG COBOL CL programs on AS400 as applicable Conduct unit testing debug issues and resolve software defects Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AS400-based systems DevOps CI CD Plan build and maintain CI CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment Work with Jenkins GitHub Docker and Kubernetes for streamlined development and release processes Quality Collaboration Participate in technical evaluations code reviews and performance optimization Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA DevOps and Architecture teams Support delivery anchors for tracking sourcing interviews and feedback activities Mandatory Skills Java J2EE AS400 REST API development Frontend Integration HTML CSS JavaScript DevOps Tools Jenkins GitHub Kubernetes Docker Desired Skills CI CD design and implementation Experience with Banking Financial Services domain .
