Java Developer, AVP

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing software applications. You are expected to collaborate closely with Team Leads, Software Development Managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and high-performing software applications to users. Coming from a strong technological background, you should be hands-on, capable of working independently with minimal technical guidance, and proficient in guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your excellent communication skills and positive outlook will be crucial for success in this role.

- Hands-on software development, preferably with Java/Hadoop/Oracle or similar technologies - Experience with Microservices, Cloud, preferably GCP - Knowledge of solution design and architecting - Proficiency in Agile and Scrum delivery - Contribution towards good software design - Effective communication with stakeholders - Timely articulation of issues and risks to management - Training and mentoring team members - Analysis and resolution of software defects - Collaboration with Functional Analysis and Quality Assurance teams - Leadership of scrum teams - End-to-end delivery management

Must have: - Extensive experience with Microservices - Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hadoop - Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Azure - Experience with UI frameworks like Angular or React - Tuning, troubleshooting, profiling, and monitoring tools - Knowledge of solution design, architecture, Design Patterns, Refactoring, and quality attributes - Proficiency in Messaging and integration, Patterns, REST, SOA - Experience with build and deployment tools like Maven, Artifactory, Teamcity, or Jenkins - Unix scripting expertise - Performance engineering, various types of tests, measurement, monitoring, tools - Performance tuning and troubleshooting - Awareness of emerging trends and technologies Nice to have: - Experience with Apache Spark and Scala (preferably greater than version 2.0) - Expertise in Spark job optimization - Knowledge of File handling such as Avro, Parquet, etc. - Experience in end-to-end design and delivery of solutions - RDBMS/Oracle design, development, tuning Company Details: Omit this section as no additional details of the company are mentioned in the job description.
