Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team at the Insurance Information Bureau of India. The role focuses on developing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot frameworks, with the ability to deliver scalable and reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Java / J2EE / Spring Boot.
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications to ensure seamless functionality.
- Implement and manage data storage solutions, including databases and caching mechanisms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and backend technologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Should be proficient in writing JUnit test cases.
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Ability to optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Experience with data storage solutions and caching mechanisms.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud services, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Java / J2EE / Spring Boot development. .
