01Overview
Role : We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer to join our Application Modernization and Java Remediation Program. The selected candidate will work on upgrading enterprise Java applications, resolving security vulnerabilities, modernizing APIs, and supporting AI-assisted code remediation initiatives across large-scale application portfolios.Key Responsibilities : - Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.- Build and deploy REST APIs adhering to enterprise governance and CI/CD standards.- Participate in Java application modernization and framework upgrade initiatives.- Analyze and remediate application security vulnerabilities identified by Checkmarx and Snyk.- Work with AI-assisted developer productivity tools such as Code Elevate, Vulcan, and/or QEstra for remediation and modernization activities.- Support repository discovery, remediation, deployment, and production readiness activities.- Collaborate with Architects, DevOps, QA, Security, and Delivery teams for successful application upgrades.- Contribute to production deployments, artifact management, and DevOps best practices.- Participate in Shift-Left testing and write clean, well-tested, maintainable code.- Prepare technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.Tech Stack & Requirements : - 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices.- Experience in developing REST APIs.- Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.- Strong SQL knowledge with Oracle/PostgreSQL.- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.- Understanding of application security and vulnerability remediation.- Experience working with Checkmarx, Snyk, or similar security scanning tools.- Exposure to AI-assisted development/remediation tools such as Code Elevate, Vulcan, or equivalent tools is highly desirable.- Experience supporting production deployments and repository management (Artifactory/Nexus).- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Preferred Skills : - Experience with Java upgrade and modernization programs.- Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).- Exposure to Struts migration/remediation projects is an advantage.- Experience working in large enterprise application portfolios.Additional Info : - Immediate Joiners to 15 days max (Serving Notice Only).- Prior MNC Experience required.
