Benefits Administration Specialist (US & Canada)
Mandatory Skills :
- Administration and support of benefits like ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA for US & Canada regions
- Ability to explain complex benefits information clearly, empathetically and address employee benefits related queries
- Excellent oral and written communication skill
Role Description :
- 6-8 years of experience in benefits administration support for the U.S. and Canada workforce
- Working knowledge of employee benefits programs, applicable laws and regulations, with strong expertise in U.S. and Canada benefits
- Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, flexible spending accounts, wellness, disability, and leave programs
- Process benefit enrolments, changes, terminations, and qualifying life event updates accurately and in a timely manner
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution
- Coordinate annual open enrolment activities, including system updates, communications, and employee education
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and plan provisions, including ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, and relevant state requirements
