Job Description
We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of the company, including preparing financial statements, maintaining records, and assisting with tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries and general ledger entries.Assist with tax compliance, including filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with local and national tax laws.Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, making payments, and following up on outstanding invoices.Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure that all bank transactions are properly recorded.Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, including tracking actual expenses against budgeted amounts.Provide support to senior accountants and other members of the finance team as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
