Key Responsibilities
**
- Conduct vision testing and refraction to assess visual acuity, depth perception, and eye health
- Recommend corrective lenses, glasses, or contact lenses based on refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia
- Utilize diagnostic equipment like slit-lamp machines, autorefractors, and tonometers to detect conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal diseases
- Provide expert recommendations on corrective devices, manage common eye conditions, and educate patients on eye health and preventive care
- Mentor and guide Junior Optometrists, ensuring high standards of patient care, professionalism, and accuracy in clinical procedures

Qualifications Required
**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optometry (B.Optom or M.Optom)
- Additional certifications in specialized areas such as contact lenses or low vision are a plus
- Minimum 2-5 years of clinical experience in optometry, including expertise in eye exams, diagnosing visual conditions, and patient management
- Proficiency in handling diagnostic equipment and strong communication skills for patient interaction
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior staff effectively
