Jr. QA Engineer

Job Details We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our team in Surat. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who want to build a strong career in Manual Testing for Web Applications. You will work closely with our development team to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications built using modern technologies like Laravel, ReactJS, VueJS, NodeJS, NextJS, Strapi CMS, and Payload CMS. Responsibilities Understand project requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. Create, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios. Perform manual testing of web applications across different browsers and devices. Identify, document, and track bugs in a structured and clear manner. Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes. Perform regression testing before release deployments. Ensure UI/UX consistency and validate application workflows. Conduct basic API testing using tools like Postman (if required). Maintain proper QA documentation and reports. Participate in daily stand-ups and project discussions. Skills Basic understanding of Testing concepts (SDLC & STLC). Good knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies. Understanding of web application structure and functionality. >Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for inspecting elements and debugging). >Ability to write clear and structured test cases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and grow in the QA domain. Good to Have Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, Trello, etc.). Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman). Exposure to CMS-based projects (Strapi, Payload, etc.).
