01Key Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and document test results to ensure software meets the required standards and specifications.
- Bug Identification: Identify, report, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
- Test Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaboration: Work with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to verify that new changes do not adversely affect existing features.
- Quality Improvement: Provide feedback on potential improvements to the testing process and product quality.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of software development and testing principles. Familiarity with programming languages or scripting is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and QA methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of software testing tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Familiarity with automated testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium) is a Plus
