Role & responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and review of audit workpapers
- Support in documentation and reconciliation of financial statements as per IGAAP and US GAAP.
- Perform GL reviews, variance analysis, and assist in month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Review and organize client-provided data including trial balances, bank statements, and invoices.
- Prepare working papers, schedules, and other audit support documents.
- Maintain accuracy and quality of audit files and ensure adherence to audit procedures.
- Handle basic accounting entries, reconciliations, and assist with intercompany and related party analysis.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of client data at all times.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance)/CA(Inter)/CMA(Inter)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience: 2 - 5 years
- Robust understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of Excel; experience with tools like Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite, CaseWare (if applicable) is a plus
- Ability to analyze data, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate with remote teams
- Candidates with prior experience in audit firms, BPOs/KPOs, or outsourced accounting setups preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities .
