Position: Junior BI Developer
Location: Bangalore (Head Office)
Employment Type: Contract (with potential for conversion to a permanent role based on business requirements and individual performance)
We are looking for a Junior BI Developer to join our Analytics Team at our Bangalore Head Office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on internal analytics and business intelligence initiatives, helping business teams make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
- Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into meaningful BI solutions.
- Extract, clean, validate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Create and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics needs.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of data presented in dashboards and reports.
- Monitor and enhance dashboard performance and usability.
- Support business users with reporting requests and data-related queries.
- Collaborate with analytics and technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a BI Developer, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau (preferred).
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with databases.
- Valuable understanding of data visualization principles and reporting best practices.
- Familiarity with data analysis and business intelligence concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, Lending, or FinTech domain.
- Exposure to data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of lending, portfolio, collections, or risk analytics is a plus. .
