India Operations Asset Management Job Reference # 259106BRCity PuneJob Type Full Time Your role Are you curious about financial instruments and how the data is utilized in the asset management lifecycle Are you passionate about solving business problems and making an impact Do you want to learn more about the asset management Industry We're looking for someone like that to: support instrument and data sourcing, including the setup and maintenance of various instrument types ensure data integrity of vendor data feeding internal systems. proactively identify and resolve potential problems and risks before they arise and escalating issues in a timely manner when appropriate. be involved in data projects, providing reports or business analysis to support the implementation of new system flows. contribute to the maintenance of the knowledge base of procedures to ensure high-levels of cross-training and standardization.Your team You'll be working in the Knowledge Services team in India and supporting our global team during APAC business hours. Sitting at the intersection of business and technology teams, Knowledge Services provides data and support to our teams around the globe. The team is a part of the Asset Management COO and has a mandate to govern and commercialize data through innovative technology and services.Your expertise You have: a university degree in an analytical field like business or finance or information technology an understanding of major security asset classes (equities, bonds, futures and OTC instruments) and key data attributes associated with them strong communication skills, verbal and written excellent problem-solving skills working knowledge of leading market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Simcorp Dimension) is a plus proficiency in Excel macros, Alteryx and basic SQL are preferred You are: intellectually curious, accountable and data driven a self-started with the ability to work with minimal supervision an individual who possesses a positive, action-oriented attitude and understands the importance of taking initiative within a team environment able to challenge the status quo and suggest viable and actionable alternative approachesAbout us UBS is the worlds largest and only truly global wealth manager.
