UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UKSBS) is transforming into a leading UK public sector business service provider. They are seeking a junior finance specialist to support the Accounts Receivable Team through the onboarding of new clients and services.ResponsibilitiesAct as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Accounts Receivable issuesApproval of complex transactions and processesResolution of complex queries which involve analysing and understanding dataDebt ManagementManipulation of spreadsheets for invoice uploadTo monitor unidentified receiptsTo oversee and monitor the teams workload ensuring that where required, work is prioritised and that SLAs are met in all areasExcellent working relationships with key stakeholder clients including clients and colleaguesSkillsBe educated to GCSE level, including Mathematics and English or equivalentStrong Excel, ideally to macro levelProven experience of working with numerical data, performing calculations, and analysing financial information accuratelyFirst class oral and written communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersProven track record of operating to tight timescales and SLA'sMeticulous approach to tasks, ensuring high levels of accuracy in data entry and processingAny previous experience of Oracle, Workday or similar ERP system will be highly advantageousExperience of working in a busy administration service environment, preferably in a shared services or similar environmentCompany OverviewUKSBS is a public sector company providing HR and Payroll, Finance, Procurement and IT services, supporting the advancement of the UK society and economy.
