Job Summary
We are looking for a
Junior TOSCA Automation Engineer
to support our Quality Engineering team in building and executing automated test cases using
Tricentis Tosca
. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong QA foundation and are growing their expertise in
model-based test automation
.
The engineer will work under the guidance of senior automation team members and contribute to functional and regression automation for enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca
- Support application scanning and creation of Tosca modules
- Assist in maintaining functional and regression automation suites
- Perform test execution and analyse results
- Log and track defects using defect management tools
- Collaborate with manual testers, developers, and QA leads
- Follow QA best practices within Agile teams
- Continuously learn and improve Tosca automation skills
Required Skills & Experience
- 24 years of overall QA experience
- Hands-on experience or exposure to Tricentis Tosca automation
- Basic understanding of:
- Tosca Modules, TestCases, and ExecutionLists
- Functional and Regression Testing concepts
- Knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and defect lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
Education Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (mandatory)
Good to Have (Nice to Have)
- Tosca certification (AS1 Foundation)
- Exposure to enterprise applications (Banking / Insurance / ERP)
- Basic knowledge of API testing using Tosca
- CI/CD awareness (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) .
