Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled L2 Applications Support Engineer responsible for supporting mission-critical enterprise/airport applications. The role involves handling escalated incidents, performing detailed troubleshooting, managing application health, and coordinating with L3 teams and vendors to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Handle L2 escalations and restore services within SLA timelines - Perform advanced troubleshooting using logs, monitoring tools, and system diagnostics - Support application monitoring, batch jobs, and scheduled tasks - Troubleshoot interfaces (APIs, SFTP, middleware) and data flow issues - Execute service requests and standard changes - Participate in major incident management calls - Perform root cause analysis and problem management - Coordinate with vendors and L3 teams - Maintain documentation and knowledge articles
Technical Skills
Experience with web applications (IIS, Tomcat, APIs) - Basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting - Understanding of Windows/Linux environments - Knowledge of batch jobs, schedulers, and logs - Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.) - Familiarity with integration technologies (JSON/XML, SFTP) .
