L2 Windows System Admin

Provide overnight L2 operational support for Windows Server environments, ensuring continuous monitoring, timely incident response, execution of patching and maintenance activities, and coordination with client teams to maintain system stability and availability.

Monitor Windows Server health using PRTG, review alerts, acknowledge, and resolve incidents using approved SOPs and runbooks. Perform Windows OS patching, software updates, and scheduled maintenance activities during approved maintenance windows. Execute routine system health checks, validate server availability, services, disk space, and performance metrics. Respond to alerts, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 or client teams as required. Support overnight maintenance, deployment activities, and validate system functionality post-changes. Coordinate with Paradigm and other client teams for change approvals, maintenance activities, and incident communication. Key Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows Server administration (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022). Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as PRTG or similar monitoring platforms. Understanding of OS patching, system services, task scheduler, and server health validation. Ability to follow SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures for incident resolution. Basic troubleshooting skills related to server performance, services, and connectivity. Good communication skills and ability to work in overnight support shifts. .
