Job Description- Credit Risk- Corporate RoleDesignation-Lead AnalystLocation- Mumbai / Pune / GurgaonKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESWork with team of onshore analysts to cover credit portfolio of corporates, Public Sector Entities and GREsPreparing opinion based credit reports and financial models based on fundamental analysis for a set of assigned credits/companiesThe credit assessment process requires the following:oUndertaking research and analysis of an entity through thorough assessment of its credit strengths and weakness and weighing its business and financial risk profile.oUnderstanding the potential for sovereign support or parent support which would need to be factored into the credit assessments.oPreparing a detailed credit assessment report and elaborately discuss the company profile and credit risk considerations.oPreparing and updating detailed financial modelsencompassing financial analysis, capital structure analysis,calculation of key credit quality determinants andfinancial projections (upto 7 years).oDetermine and recommend ratings to the entity based on the internal rating framework and methodology.Regular interaction with client to discuss reports as well as workflowSupport the client with any ad-hoc research requests including sector researchEngage with client teams proactively and suggest new ideas to enhance client engagementTrain new hires and mentor juniors in the teamFUNCTIONAL & BEHAVIOURAL KNOWLEDGEExperience in deal financial modeling/ surveillance/ portfolio monitoring and credit analysisGood understanding of banking regulations, calculation of key credit metrics and capital ratiosReasonable understanding of banks internal systemsMINIMUM & PREFERRED EDUCATIONMBA or CA or Masters degree preferred; CFA certification is a plusMINIMUM & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS7 years of work experience preferable in credit risk/credit researchHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy; Diligence and hard workOrganization skills and the ability to manage and prioritize workloadGood understanding of MS office productsAbout GR&RS :CRISIL Global Research & Risk Solutions (GR&RS) is the largest and top-ranked provider of high-end research and analytics services to the world's leading commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, corporations, consulting firms, private equity players and asset management firms.
