01Overview
To lead and manage the Fire Protection System (FPS) section within the MEP design departmentensuring life safety, system reliability, and code compliance, while overseeing design, coordination, and quality assurance across assigned projects.
SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
Oversee FPS design layouts, hydraulic calculations, and equipment specifications.Review sprinkler layouts, pump room designs, and control systems.Coordinate with Architecture, Electrical, and BIM teams for integration and conflict resolution.Conduct technical reviews, value engineering, and ensure FPS code compliance.Guide and mentor FPS design engineers for quality deliverables. Support project teams with FPS design clarifications and site query resolution.
